William (Brad) Nielsen

NIELSEN

William Bradley (Brad) Nielsen, age 32, of 1575 Presidential Dr., Friday, Riverside Methodist Hospital.  Was employed by the State of Ohio in the Department of Economic Development.  Survived by mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. William T. Nielsen, Worthington; brother, Jon, Columbus; sisters, Mrs. Anne Hamilton and Mrs. Barbara Houfek, both of Columbus; 2 nephews, Eric and Andrew Hamilton, Columbus; 3 nieces, Shannon Hamilton and Katy and Beth Houfek, all of Columbus; also survived by many dear aunts, uncles, cousins.  Graduate of  Bishop Watterson High School, Ohio State University, and member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity.  Was a member of the Ohio State University National Championship Football Team of 1968.  Funeral mass 10 a.m. Monday, St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Reed and McCoy Rd.  Friends may call at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.  Rosary 7:30  p.m. Sunday evening.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the Dominican Sisters of the Sick Poor, 168 Lincoln Ave., or to a favorite charity of your choice.

What !!!!!!!!!!!! no posts for handsome Buckeye Brad our James Dean.

I remember you hired me to bartend at Andy Capps on Highst. My first night you were to be there at 7 to train me. You didn't show till way after 8 and the day shift bartender left. All she did was open the register and said good luck with Brad.

You are one of a kind. We had great times at Andy's together and with Jim Underwood.
