Barcelona Trip Survey
The Class of ’66 is in the planning stages of a trip to Barcelona, Spain, next October, 2020. As many of you know, we are lucky enough to have our friend and classmate, Donna Kelley, living in Barcelona. That gives us a local who can give us advice on where to go and what to do.
This not going to be a traditional tour. We will select a day. Right now we are discussing October 6, 2020, that we will all meet up in Barcelona. Donna will get us the hotel information and we can each book accordingly. She is suggesting about 5 days that might include a day trip such as Girona where Game of Thrones was filmed or Montserrat, a Benedictine abbey in the mountains for those who are interested.
There are so many other possibilities once there. Barcelona (BCN) is a very popular port to embark on a Mediterranean cruise. There are trains that travel throughout Spain if you would like to see Madrid, Seville, Granada, even go on to Portugal. Maybe some want to travel to other countries in Europe.
We have set up a trip page with some of Donna’s ideas that you can explore. This can be found as a new link at the top of the left column. Reading this info before responding to the survey is probably a good idea.
We will try to make this interactive so that those wanting to go on a train trip or those wanting to go on a cruise can connect and plan to go together.
So get your passports ready!
